1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Beautycares website, mobile application, or any of our home salon services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our beauty service booking platform.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "User," "You") and Beautycares Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Beautycares," "We," "Us," "Our") regarding your use of our home salon services across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, and other Indian cities.
2. Service Description
Beautycares is a home salon service aggregator that connects customers with verified beauty professionals, independent stylists, and partner salons for various beauty services including:
- Threading & Brow Services: Eyebrow shaping, upper lip, chin, and full face threading
- Waxing Services: Rica waxing, chocolate waxing, honey waxing, Brazilian waxing, bikini waxing, full body waxing
- Facials & Skin Care: Gold facial, fruit facial, O3+ facial, chemical peels, skin brightening treatments
- Makeup & Hairstyling: Bridal makeup, engagement makeup, party makeup, hairstyling, hair spa, hair treatments
- Manicure & Pedicure: Classic, luxury, spa, and gel nail services
- Bleach & Detox: Face bleach, full body bleach, detox packs, skin lightening treatments
Service Provider Model
Beautycares acts as an intermediary platform. The actual beauty services are performed by independent beauty professionals and partner salons. We verify their credentials but do not employ them directly. All professionals maintain their own liability insurance.
3. Booking & Appointment Policy
Booking Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability of beauty professionals in your city and area.
- Booking confirmation will be sent via email, SMS, and WhatsApp within 15 minutes of successful booking.
- You will receive a reminder notification 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time.
- The beauty professional assigned to your booking will contact you before arrival for location confirmation.
Location & Access
- Please provide accurate address details including landmark, floor, and building name for service delivery.
- Ensure easy access to the service location (elevator access, security clearance if required).
- If the professional cannot access the location due to incomplete address or security issues, the booking may be cancelled.
Service Duration
The estimated service duration is provided at the time of booking. Actual duration may vary based on service complexity and individual requirements. Our professionals will complete the service within a reasonable timeframe.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Customer Cancellation
- Free Cancellation: Cancellations made at least 4 hours before the scheduled appointment time are free of charge.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 4 hours of appointment time will incur a 30% cancellation fee.
- No-Show: If the customer is not available at the service location within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, the booking will be marked as no-show and 50% of the service fee will be charged.
- Rescheduling: Free rescheduling is available up to 2 hours before appointment time.
Professional Cancellation
- If a beauty professional cancels due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified immediately.
- We will attempt to assign another available professional for the same time slot.
- If replacement is not available, you can reschedule at no additional cost or receive a full refund.
Important Note
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in account restrictions or permanent suspension from the Beautycares platform.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment Methods: We accept credit cards, debit cards, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), net banking, and cash on service (available in select cities).
- Price Confirmation: All prices displayed are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. Prices may vary by city and professional experience level.
- Payment Security: All online payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe). We do not store your payment details.
- Advance Payment: For bookings above ₹5,000, advance payment of 50% is required for confirmation.
- Price Matching: We do not match prices offered by other platforms or direct bookings with professionals.
6. Refund Policy
Eligible Refunds
- Full refund if the service is cancelled by Beautycares or the assigned professional.
- Full refund if the service cannot be performed due to technical issues on our platform.
- Partial refund (50-70%) if service quality is significantly below standard (subject to investigation).
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Change of mind after service completion.
- Dissatisfaction without reasonable cause (results may vary based on individual skin/hair types).
- Allergic reactions where patch test was recommended but not performed by customer.
- Late cancellation or no-show fees as per cancellation policy.
Patch Test Recommendation
For chemical services (hair color, bleach, chemical peels), we strongly recommend a patch test 24-48 hours before the service. Beautycares is not liable for allergic reactions if customer declines the patch test.
7. Partner Services
As a beauty service aggregator, Beautycares collaborates with various partner salons and independent beauty professionals across India:
- Partner Verification: All partners undergo verification including ID proof, experience certificates, and background checks.
- Service Quality: While we maintain quality standards, the actual service delivery is the responsibility of the individual professional or partner salon.
- Partner Liability: Partners maintain their own liability insurance. Beautycares facilitates dispute resolution but is not directly liable for service outcomes.
- Partner Ratings: Customer feedback and ratings help us maintain partner quality. Partners with consistently low ratings may be removed from the platform.
8. User Obligations
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration and booking.
- Ensure a safe and accessible environment for service delivery.
- Disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or sensitivities before service commencement.
- Treat beauty professionals with respect and dignity. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate account termination.
- Provide honest feedback and ratings to help improve service quality.
- Notify Beautycares immediately of any issues during the service for timely resolution.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Beautycares and its affiliates, partners, and employees shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from service use.
- Damages related to allergic reactions where proper patch test protocols were followed or advised.
- Service outcomes that vary from expectations due to individual skin/hair conditions.
- Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
- Acts of God, natural disasters, or situations beyond reasonable control.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Beautycares platform and home salon services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties or representations about:
- Continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation of our platform.
- Specific results from beauty services (results vary based on individual factors).
- Availability of specific beauty professionals in your area.
- Third-party links or content accessed through our platform.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Beautycares website and mobile application, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Beautycares Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without explicit written consent.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Beautycares, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
- Your use of our home salon services.
- Violation of these Terms and Conditions.
- Infringement of any third-party rights.
- Your interactions with beauty professionals or partner salons.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
14. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Beautycares services:
- Informal Resolution: Contact our customer support team at support@beautycares.com. We strive to resolve issues within 48 hours.
- Mediation: If unresolved, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator in Mumbai before pursuing legal action.
- Arbitration: Any dispute not resolved through mediation shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with proceedings conducted in Mumbai in English.
Updates to Terms
Beautycares reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our home salon services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically for updates.
